Article fails miserably to mention very important aspects[edit]

This article fails miserably to mention very important aspects; like the support provided by the Foreign Petroleum companies in order to reverse the national character of the then recently created YPF (Yacimientos Petroliferos Fiscales) national oil company two years before, with the objective of obtaining the control of the petroleum recourses for the operation by foreing companies like Standard Oil and others (The coup was lobbied for chiefly by Standard Oil). The Chamber of Deputies approved a law on 28 September 1928, establishing a state monopoly on oil. The monopoly, however, was not absolute, being limited to oil exploration, exploitation and transport, but excluding selling and imports. This coup had nothing to do with petroleum business, which continued to be in the hands of YPF for various decades. There is an argentinian book, "El general Uriburu y el petróleo", spanish for "General Uriburu and the petroleum", by authors Fernando García Molina and Carlos Mayo and published by Centro Editor de América Latina in 1985 which refutes this theory about the coup. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 181.91.150.66 (talk) 04:41, 1 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Description of connection to economic great depression[edit]

Hello, I want to make this change in order to improve readibility and add more detail to the context of the coup, but I am not confident enough in my understanding of history or international economy to make the following claims, can someone please take a look at this?

Before:

"With the onset of the Great Depression in 1929 that impacted Argentina, Yrigoyen lost political support as he retrenched government services which resulted in acceleration of unemployment."

After:

"With the onset of the Great Depression in 1929, Argentina fell into recession after austerity measures where implemented which involved the loss of public jobs, resulting in the acceleration of unemployment, this caused Yrigoyen to lose political support."

I will take a look at the source material in the meantime^[1], thank you.
