It would be interesting...[edit]

...to know why they bothered with elections at all. They already had control of state apparatus and the means of crushing opposition. Why bother with getting a vote? A²Kafir (and...?) 17:23, 22 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Speech of 30 January 1939[edit]

I’m uncertain about adding this, since it doesn’t pertain to the “election” itself, but the first Reichstag session after the vote, on 30 January 1939, is when Hitler made his speech stating that a war would result in the “annihilation of the Jewish race in Europe”.
