Just four Jaguars[edit]

The article currently states that "The geographic difficulties of crossing Bass Strait to get to the Longford street circuit saw that just four Jaguars attended the 1962 ATCC...". This implies that there were only four Jaguars in the race because it was held in Tasmania, however, I seriously doubt that there would have been more whichever state it was held in. To quote Stewart Wilson in “Australian Touring Car Championship, 30 Fabulous Years”, page 34, "Present were all four available Jaguars - Ron Hodgson had his for sale". In light of this, I propose to change the sentence accordingly. GTHO (talk) 08:54, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I don't mind changing. I minded removal as it significantly altered the impact of what remained. While I understand your point completely, it could have been achieved with more finesse. --Falcadore (talk) 20:39, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
