Game 4 on TV?[edit]

The article states that ABC dropped out of its coverage of Game 4 before it ended, supposedly causing a hassle similar to NBC's handling of the infamous "Heidi Game" three years later. But after checking several TV listings in various newspapers, it appears that ABC didn't air Game 4 at all, let alone cut it off. It seems that ABC ran its regular Friday line-up that night, April 23, 1965: The Farmer's Daughter, The Addams Family, Valentine's Day, a documentary on FDR and 12 O'Clock High. (The Chicago Tribune has a listing that day for "NBA Playoff Game", not on ABC but on independent Channel 26, at 10:30 Central Time, presumably on tape.) Anybody? OK, the game was played in Los Angeles, starting at 8:30 Pacific time, and as such wouldn't have been shown in prime time in most of the country in any case. (The game was blacked out in LA, and wasn't shown in San Francisco, either.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dr Clyde Crashcup (talkcontribs) 21:43, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
