Think again about your title[edit]

Hello, this article jumped to "riot" from the alternatives offered by Elizabeth Hinton: "disturbances," "uprisings," "rebellions," "melees," "eruptions," and lastly, "riots."^[1] Take a look at sentence case in MOS:TITLECAPS regarding the capital letter that doesn't belong here in Riot. The Minneapolis article follows historian Iric Nathanson in avoiding the term "riot."^[2] Instead it was the 1966 and 1967 "disturbances". For Mr. Floyd's death we use "rebellions," "mass protests," and "insurgency" all based on Ms. Hinton's essay. I am refraining from linking to this because it seems to be part of a mass effort that maybe could be better informed, to unthinkingly record a string of "riot"s throughout the US in {{Campaignbox Long hot summer of 1967}}.
