Sponsor[edit]

This was the first of eight UK championships sponsored by Coral. We are providing a link to Gala Coral Group (now Gala Bingo), but I think we should be linking to Coral (bookmaker). This BBC article says "Coral Racing", i.e. the bookmaker, and according to this article the Gala group didn't acquire Coral Racing until 2005. Rodney Baggins (talk) 12:26, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
