Fair use rationale for Image:Nswrl 1988.jpg[edit]

Image:Nswrl 1988.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Play Off for 5th[edit]

If Wests beat Canterbury in a "Play Off for fifth spot" then surely they should appear in the final ladder in 5th spot shouldn't they ? -Sticks66 11:39, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Technically Canterbury finished higher on the ladder (on for and against) but the system used back then ensured a play-off would happen if two teams tied on points. For and against is pretty much superfluous here when deciding who finishes 5th. I think we should leave it as it is though on the merit of being consistent across seasons. --mdmanser 09:56, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Grand Final Captains[edit]

Could somebody please confirm who the captains were on Grand Final day? An intermediate version by a non-regular user changed it to Alexander, which sounds correct, but just to be sure could somebody double check. Cheers. mdmanser 10:30, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Club Jerseys[edit]

I'm not sure how to message moderators/site admins. This Penrith Panthers jersey is wrong, as the coloured stripes are actually Red, Yellow and Green, not Red, Green and Blue as seen in this picture. Finally the Canterbury/Bulldogs jersey is wrong because the blue V was made up with a white line that ran parallel to the blue V, not at different angles, like in this picture.
