First time top of the season[edit]

In the lead it says that the first time Manchester United topped the table was January but in the Premier League section it says Manchester United topped the table on the 28th of December. Which is correct? (Fran Bosh (talk) 21:14, 13 August 2022 (UTC))[reply]

I'm not sure why the table said United were top of the table on 28 December. Maybe it was a temporary situation during the day, before Norwich took top spot back, but United definitely finished the day in second place. The first time they were top was 9 January 1993. – Pee Jay 21:04, 23 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
