Geto Grlz[edit]

The Start of the Career The 5 girls Donyella Quezz (Don), Shavachi Worship (Shelo), Roxinitah Deborah (Roxy), Maphiott Jones, and Sindaya Dax; were first known as XOXO in their old town in Detroit, Michigan. One night the group went off to Harlem, New York to perform at the Apollo and were discovered by Prima Gems (diva and enturprenur). She changed their name to Geto Grlz and moved them to Atlanta, Georgia to be the beginning of her new record label, Geto Grl Records.

First Albulm Being signed to Geto Grl Records everything went Prima's way and she made Roxy and Don the lead singers and the rest of the girls were in the backround.Before the Geto Grlz began making their first albulm (self titled) they were opening for upcomming famous artist. Soon after their mix tape was released the girls got serioused and started recording. Then they performed their new single at a local block party.Soon the girls teamed up with hit producers to make their first albulm perfect and then the fall of 2000 their albulm was finally out and sold well in Gergia, Ohio, New York, and Detroit.

Jelousy Strikes Roxy wasn't getting enough symphothy even though she was in the lead. Most people only recodnized Don's name and she grew jelous. There would be constant arguing and Roxy began missing shows, interveiws, and concerts. Then one day she told the group she was leaving Geto Grl records for Grasshopper Records in Kentucky. That was the last time Roxy sang with the group because 2 years later she commited suicide.

GG Improved So another member wont leave the group in 2002 the girls took turn singing in the lead.Everyone loved the idea. Even though the albulm was a sucess there has nver been a name for this ablulm. When it sold in the winter of 2003 it was sold as Untitled and it sold as well as the last one.

Bankrupt In the summer of 2005 the group was making their 4th albulm but was unable to release it because they were bankrupt. So the record label shut down and the record label wasnt able to break through.

All Grown Up The year was 2008 and the Geto Grlz were signed to IfYouKnowWhatThatMeans Entertainment and switched their name to Lipgloss & Sneackers. Since the girls were older they changed their style, music, and etc. to show their veiwers they were older and more mature. Later that year Donyella married the record labels founder Romeo Rashad in Cincinnati, Ohio; his home town. And 2 years later that had a baby boy named Jyvente' Oneese Quezz on the 5th of February.

A Sad Lost In 2010 Romeo Rashad was killed in a car accident and all rights went to Don and her son. Don co signed with Chance Smith and continued to run IfYouKnowWhatThatMeans Entertainment and in January 3rd 2012 Donyella married Chance and is pregnant.

The End After all the sucess together the Geto Grlz decided to split up but they are close friends. Donyella is living happily with her family, Shelo has a doughter named Ionnah Ferchess Worship, Maphiott is in a new group called Maphiott & Catrina with her cousin, and Sindaya is married to Kein Baker (director) and they have a doughter Kayla Enue Dax Baker and raising her 15 year ols sister Cicillia Dax (CiCi). — Preceding unsigned comment added by DQUEZZ (talk • contribs) 02:58, 2 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
