We need information on all those players that did not compete in the Cup. I suppose most of the instances are contusion-related? Although I'm not certain about Hewitt, what with his wife having the baby and all... Maybe he withdrew because of the birth of his child? I mean, this is got to be a first: only one of the Top 5 players is actually participating in the Cup (after Agassi withdrew following his first match). Added ref for indoor carpet surface[edit]

I added the ref because there has been confusion about this elsewhere on wikipedia, and not surprisingly since the "official" site incorrectly says indoor hard courts. But the ITF site's tourney draw is correct so I used that as the lone reference.
