Unclear line[edit]

The Leinster and Munster championships will be played off as usual. The Leinster and Munster champions and runners-up advance directly to the All-Ireland Quarter-Finals.

The three remaining teams in Leinster (6-2 =4 ) what happens to the 4th team? and Munster will join Galway and Antrim : antrim in the ring cup this year (Gnevin 16:16, 14 May 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Recent Changes[edit]

Someone has made massive style changes to the articial . I for one dont like the new layout as it different to the football ones and older hurling ones. What are other peoples opinions ?(Gnevin 21:59, 13 June 2006 (UTC))[reply]

I made those changes to the page recently. I thought they looked better than the old way but if others want it to stay the same thats fine. I hadn't got around to changing the previous hurling and football pages. (CorkMan 17:36, 15 June 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Merge with Liam McCarthy Cup?[edit]

It seems to me there is little information in the McCarthy Cup page that couldn't be comfortably merged into this article. Cripipper 13:01, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree , all the McCarthy cup needs is a clean up and a couple pictures (Gnevin 19:03, 7 November 2006 (UTC))[reply]
I also disagree, we should expand the McCarthy Cup page, well soon have the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship 2007, are you suggesting that we continually merge the McCarthy Cup information to the latest pages, thatd be silly!!! If we put the McCarthy Cup info with the 2006 page then, would that mean, we have to put that same information on every year? (Frainc 19:09 November 07 2006 (UTC))

There might be a case for merging with All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship , but certainly not with an annual edition thereof. Kevin McE 19:02, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

YouTube links[edit]

This article is one of thousands on Wikipedia that have a link to YouTube in it. Based on the External links policy, most of these should probably be removed. I'm putting this message here, on this talk page, to request the regular editors take a look at the link and make sure it doesn't violate policy. In short: 1. 99% of the time YouTube should not be used as a source. 2. We must not link to material that violates someones copyright. If you are not sure if the link on this article should be removed, feel free to ask me on my talk page and I'll review it personally. Thanks. ---J.S (t|c) 04:24, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Tipperary-crest.gif[edit]

Image:Tipperary-crest.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
