This article should probably be merged with the 2007 Rugby World Cup page, instead of being given a page of its own. --lifebaka (Talk - Contribs) 18:19, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why? There is a separate article for each of the Pools, so why not have one for the knockout stage? - PeeJay 18:38, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I am sorry, I misinterpreted the article. Upon looking further, I see the need for the creation of this article, and withdraw my suggestion. --lifebaka (Talk - Contribs) 18:58, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Future results?[edit]

"The semi-fianlist are France vs. Australia and South Africa vs. Argentina. With the final being won by South Africa 31- 10 over Australia." -- What the...? Is Wikipedia predicting the future now? -- ironcito 07:42, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Obviously that was vandalism. The right thing for you to do would have been to remove it, not complain about it here. Nevertheless, I've deleted it myself now. - PeeJay 09:20, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The thing is that is was right at the top and it had survived several edits already, so I checked here before, in case I was missing something. -- ironcito 19:07, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

unneeded subsection[edit]

are the "Loser Semi-final 1 vs Loser Semi-final 2" subsection titles that necessary? --Howard the Duck 18:05, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just following the same style as 2006 FIFA World Cup knockout stage. I mean, I know there is such a thing as over-sectioning, but this is a logical sectioning of the major sections (Quarter-finals, Semi-finals, Bronze final and Final), and if you do it for the quarters and semis but not the bronze final or final, it just looks daft, IMO. - PeeJay 22:47, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
But you don't need them since there's only one matchup. It'll also emphasize that there is only one matchup. It's also awkward to see a section with only one subsection, considering the part before the subsection heading is empty. --Howard the Duck 03:49, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
