Game log[edit]

Is there any reason the Rangers are listed in the game log as "NY Rangers" as opposed to just "Rangers?" Every other team in the schedule is listed simply by the team's nickname. I've noticed it's done like this for other Rangers' season pages as well. Shamedog18 (talk) 04:33, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

-That's a good point. It's not like the NHL has ever had another team called the Rangers. Plus if the rumors wind up holding true, they may be the only New York team after this season. --David7581 (talk) 00:56, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I just mean usually when you see the Rangers or Islanders listed as "NY Rangers" or "NY Islanders," it's listed in a setting in which teams are listed according to their city, as a way to differentiate between the two NY teams. Shamedog18 (talk) 19:28, 17 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
