NRL season results[edit]

I'm against the inclusion of non-NRL match results in an article titled 2008 NRL season results. If this article were titled '2008 Australian rugby league season results' it would be fine, but it's not. An article titled '2008 NRL season results' should contain results of NRL matches only. Notes with links to Origin and Test matches will be sufficient. Origin series articles do not list NRL fixture results. I think everyone can agree that this article is long enough without including information that belongs elsewhere. Remember, NRL does not equal rugby league (just as NFL does not equal American Football, AFL does not equal Australian Rules Football, etc., etc.).--Jeff79 (talk) 14:38, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe put them in the See Also section. SOO is obviously not part of the NRL, but the distinction isn't particularly meaningful in this context, IMO
You're right. It is obvious. That's my point. I say put a note linking to the relevant article where they're already mentioned now, but not list any match information. But they can appear in the See also section too I suppose. In addition, they'll also be listed in the 2008 in rugby league category to which this article belongs, so anyone who wants non-NRL match details will hardly have any trouble finding them.--Jeff79 (talk) 05:52, 15 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"The Sharks have ended Parramatta's clean run" and "slipping North Queensland to their long held position." If you're going to editorialise, at least try and use less murky phrasing.

Manly is winning[edit]

Should we list Manly as 1st in the top 8 part now to save time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.185.12.51 (talk) 10:14, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Popping a brief mention under the round in which it became certain would be fine I think.--Jeff79 (talk) 10:54, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Round 22[edit]

Was the Bulldogs/Cowboys game really played at Suncorp Stadium?--Jeff79 (talk) 11:34, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. An "away" home game. Silly. Florrieleave a note 12:53, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
So it was played there? I didn't know anything about it. Thought it might be a mistake. Could a note be put in about it to prevent any future readers' confusion (and potential for changing)?--Jeff79 (talk) 12:54, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Manly qualified for the GrandFinal as the Home team. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.218.178.216 (talk) 12:59, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
