I cleared out a lot of names that got added without any sources. --GBVrallyCI 01:18, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I deleted Ben Affleck's name. Among other reasons, there was no source. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.91.92.158 (talkcontribs).

  • I removed Jim Gilmore's name from the list because he is running for pres. If u disagree, i would love to disgust it on my web page.Politics rule8:16pm EST.- 4/17/2007

A new Ramussen Poll Has Warner leading Gilmore 57%-37%....could someone put this in?[[1]] —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.37.169.190 (talk) 22:05, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Buchanan, Allen, etc.[edit]

Buchanan is sourced, but not very reliably, at the following:

i agree with the decision to remove he and allen, as allen is also hard to find a source; comment re sen. warner was not NPOV. Journalist1983 01:38, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Julien Modica[edit]

OK, do we take this seriously? First off, a search on the name doesn't turn up any sort of political career. Second, the user adding the information, JMAFoundation (talk · contribs) would appear to be directly involved. Are there any official filings we can go by to determine if a candidate is legitimately in the running? --StuffOfInterest 21:40, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, if he files with the state, them yes. I believe you need a certain number of signatures by a date in January. I'd like a third party source really soon to keep it up. I think the Foundation trying to get attention for the brain damage cause and a bill in the Senate right now, and not really to challenge Warner.--Patrick Ѻ 00:46, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As an aside, the foundation might be violating U.S. election/tax law. As far as I am aware, non-profits can't engage in partisan political activities, much less endorse a candidate, and his announcement is on his JMA website with his logo on it. Journalist1983 21:27, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What is the process for picking the Democratic nominee? 129.174.91.115 (talk) 16:32, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Delegates from across the state meet and try to get a majority of votes for a single candidate. I believe Warner was unanimously elected --Ram Astra (talk) 04:37, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Polling[edit]

I have a question about polling. Should the data reflect any "leaners", because I don't see why it shouldn't (or perhaps we could have an additional column reflecting leaners). Is there any official Wiki policy/guideline in regards to this? --Ram Astra (talk) 18:31, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Images[edit]

Just a heads up, Mark Warner has thousands of usable images uploaded on his Flickr site from the whole length of the campaign if these ever need to change.--Patrick «» 06:31, 6 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Past Tense[edit]

There are a lot of words that weren't updated after the election, and thus assume that the election is still going on. We should change themSaberwolf116 (talk) 21:59, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
