Rating[edit]

I rated the article at C. Probably it's good enough for B, but I didn't have time to check for all the B-criteria. --EdgeNavidad (talk) 07:08, 10 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Easily rates a B now. Since the 2009 season is now over, it can probably be taken to GAN anytime. Nosleep (Talk · Contribs) 00:45, 28 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Over a year later, I'm gonna go ahead and list it. Green-eyed girl (Talk · Contribs) 05:41, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Checking against GA criteria[edit]

GA review (see here for criteria)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
The team's manager up through the Tour de France is Johan Bruyneel. Surely this should be "was"?
The team's biggest success in 2009 is Contador's overall victory in the Tour de France Again "was"
Elsewhere, their main successes in 2009 have been in small stage races, "were" not have been. Please check your tenses throughout. This is all definite past now.
    Severo got these.
Astana was one of 22 teams to participate to the Giro d'Italia. ?
I don't see the problem, but I revised it anyway.
The problem was the phrase "to participate to the Giro d'Italia"
The team was nicknamed "Team Fade" in description of their new jerseys. Poor grammar, please rephrase.
    Not notable, removed.
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
Four dead links as noted above, all other references check out.
There were way more than four. It's been addressed.
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
    Fine
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
    Fine
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
    Fine
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
    Fine, captioned and licensed.
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
On hold for seven days for issues noted above to be addressed. Jezhotwells (talk) 23:01, 23 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Fine, thanks for fixing the issues. I am happy to list this as a good article. Jezhotwells (talk) 22:40, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'll get to this today. Green-eyed girl (Talk · Contribs) 10:14, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like it should be good to go now? Green-eyed girl (Talk · Contribs) 20:25, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
