Untitled[edit]

Under the heading Initial stages of investigation, I clicked the citation 1, which led me to a bcc news article. But the article does not day anywhere that the doctor switched the vaginal swab. So isn't the citation wrong? If such a thing happened, then it should be cited from a verifiable source.

Greater Kashmir[edit]

I have removed all Greater Kashmir sources as its biased non reliable self published source. Also some section were solely supported by those sources, so I have removed those sections too. ♛♚★Vaibhav Jain★♚♛ Talk Email 08:27, 6 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Fully support your edit, that source is pure rubbish. Darkness Shines (talk) 08:33, 6 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No reference works[edit]

It is shocking to see that many of the references given to the article do-not work at-all.Can anyone get some Reliable sources to replace them or else I will be removing all the unsourced info in it. Thanks ƬheⱾtrikeҾagle 11:16, 10 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Didn't know this was on the talk page. Am very much aware of the links issue and have been researching materials/sources that address the issues. It's hard work and slow, as some may have to be in Arabic/Parsee. Nice to know someone has the page on their list too. Media-Hound 'D 3rd P^) (talk) 20:45, 18 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
A lot of sources used have a clear bias evident from the tone of the sources. A clean up is due. --DBigXray 21:54, 18 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Misrepresentation of source[edit]

@Wasiq 9320 Wasiq 9320

I have noticed a deliberate source misrepresentation on this article. This article claims in the lede......It was later concluded that it was an ordinary drowning accident that was whipped up by anti-government organizations to inflame passions.

The source given for the above statement was this: [1]

However nowhere in the original source was the above text stated or even implied. The original source merely said....Local police reject the allegations saying that the women appeared to have drowned in a stream, the Associated Press news agency says.

If the BBC source is to be referenced in this article's lede then the identity of the alleged rapists should be included in the article lede. It should be mentioned in the article lede that these women were alleged to have been raped by Indian troops. That is what the original BBC source says.
