The ticketing section[edit]

Is this really necessary? Seems POV and biased to me, not to mention irrelevant to the subject of the article. Andre666 (talk) 11:02, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed - go ahead and delete it. Daemonic Kangaroo (talk) 11:47, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Awesome, good call. Andre666 (talk) 11:55, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Simon Gillet - Doncaster or released?[edit]

To everyone who keeps changing the status of Gillett's transfer from released to signed by Doncaster, you are wrong. Basically, when players are released it is done at the end of their contract, which in this case is 30 June, making their release 1 July (i.e. when the transfer window opens). So, if a player moves to a new club after 1 July, this means that they have been released for some time and have joined the new club from being a free agent. So, for example, the news that Michael Poke was to join Brighton & Hove Albion came before 1 July on 11 June, therefore he moved there from Southampton; however, the news that Simon Gillett was to join Doncaster Rovers came after 1 July on 8 July, therefore meaning he had already been a free agent for a week before the signing was made. Pre-season[edit]

Do we really need this amount of detail? If so, are you committed to adding similar detail of every league and cup match right through the season - that will be a lot of work. Daemonic Kangaroo (talk) 12:20, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've followed the Manchester United F.C. season articles for a long time, and they add this amount of detail for all league and cup matches throughout the season: see 2009–10 Manchester United F.C. season. I admit I put maybe a little too much detail on for the pre-season games, so if you think I should then I will cut it down. Although yes, I am happy to continue adding this amount of detail throughout the season. Andre666 (talk) 12:26, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough - good luck. COYR!. Daemonic Kangaroo (talk) 14:45, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Match-by-match record[edit]

Unfortunately there is a problem with the code behind the table which shows a 'Expression error: Unrecognised punctuation character "{"' error message. I've looked through the code myself and seen nothing amiss. Any suggestions? Tomtheevilgenius (talk) 20:34, 24 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It will be a problem, like you said, with the template, not this article. Best thing to do would be direct the problem on the template talk page. Andre666 (talk) 14:00, 24 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Many thanks. Will do that now. Tomtheevilgenius (talk) 20:34, 24 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
