Team Championship table needs an update[edit]

Hi, Just noticed that the Teams Championship table dosen't include Bathurst or Gold Coast. If someone could please add, that would be great. 118.93.240.22 (talk) 23:13, 26 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Championship Points for International drivers at Surfers Paradise[edit]

It would seem that the Drivers points table is incorrect in that points have been allocated for International drivers at Surfers. This is at odds with the table at www.v8supercars.com.au and conflicts with the information publised in Motorsport eNews, Issue No 179, Nov 2 - Nov 8 2010, page 8 which states that a driver can race in the Championship with an International license at an event classified as "National" but cannot score points. This situation applied at Surfers but not a Bathurst which was an "International" event. GTHO (talk) 02:16, 5 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

David Brabham would also be excluded from scoring points at Phillip Island. GTHO (talk) 02:29, 5 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Points tables[edit]

On the subject of points tables - since we now have points explained in detail with it's own table immediately above the points matrix - would anyone object to translating the points matrix into a results matrix? Witrh race position indicated instead of points scored? --Falcadore (talk) 23:16, 16 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No objections here over the change. Cs-wolves(talk) 23:33, 16 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I would prefer to see it remain as a points table. Championships are decided on points, not placings, which is why almost all championship websites show points tables rather than placings tables. GTHO (talk) 02:19, 17 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Doesn't that contradict both the points explanation table and the preference of Wikipedia:Motorsport? --Falcadore (talk) 02:42, 17 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
