2011 Hopman Cup[edit]

Is it official that Serbia "lost" in the semifinal? Shouldn't be there a (ret.) or a footnote about this after its name? Or the same after Belgium in the runner-up section (like an alternate indication). Lajbi Holla @ meCP 11:20, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I added 'alternates' and 'withdrew' in parentheses next to the teams's names, as well as a small footnote with an explanation. --JMDP (talk) 15:09, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The same should apply for walkovers (since it's the same case - advancement caused by opponent withdrawal). Lajbi Holla @ meCP 14:30, 12 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'd have to disagree. Belgium was already knocked out when Serbia withdrew. Serbia had beaten them, but Belgium were called in to replace them. A walkover is just a standard victory, in essence, whereas the unique situation at the Hopman Cup meant that there needed to be some indication of the fact that Serbia actually won Group A, even though they didn't compete in the final. SellyminimeTalk 04:20, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I see your point but do you disagree with the implementation of walkovers as well? Or the sidenote explanation of injuries from the semis stage?Lajbi Holla @ meCP 12:46, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I suppose having a little note for walkovers in semis and above would be okay, but there would be no need for any other little bits of information like with the Hopman Cup. SellymeTalk 04:41, 14 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Shouldn't a small summary needs to be added at the top of each month like in the 2008 Tour? It looked great in my opinion. Lajbi Holla @ meCP 14:22, 27 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I think the black colour for the 250 atp tournaments is not a good choice, because its not very clear. Its hard to read. Or is that vandalism? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 145.46.220.6 (talk) 09:15, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see what you mean. There's no black color. Lajbi Holla @ meCP 09:17, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm using Opera and 250 tournaments are black. --Helios13 (talk) 09:27, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

They aren't in IE, Firefox, or Chrome, but I can vouch that it's black in Opera. SellymeTalk 09:35, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Usage of a ref tag[edit]

Please if you read something somewhere and find it worthy to include just don't close that tab and copy the URL at least(!) to the article. The same goes for updates. No update triggers an automatic justification by its previous reference link. I'm getting kinda tired chasing refs for edits that are not my owns. Some subpages would also need the same warning (e.g. injuries in tournament pages are constantly unsourced). I do my best to fill in the holes but sometimes I'll be just WP:BOLD and remove them.
