Edit warring by TomCat

TomCat first reverted, with his rationale being "remove crystal ball gazing". That rationale is inapplicable, as I pointed out to him, as the guideline applies to "crystal ball gazing" by editors -- not by experts. TomCat then reverted a second time, with the edit summary "another group of "experts" could predict a completely different set of draft picks though. let's just put facts not speculation". That's simply now an "IDONTLIKEIT" rationale. WP:CRYSTAL clearly states:

"It is appropriate to report discussion ... about ... whether some development will occur, if discussion is properly referenced. It is not appropriate for editors to insert their own opinions or analyses. Predictions, speculation, forecasts and theories stated by reliable, expert sources or recognized entities in a field may be included.

If TomCat wishes to add additional such opinions, he is of course welcome to, and I will look for some as well. But there is no reason to delete the properly reference material, that is wholly appropriate under the guideline; nor has he articulated any. I would also ask TomCat not to edit war.--Epeefleche (talk) 18:31, 18 March 2011 (UTC)

Monday Night Football

This article claims that Ford Field will host its first MNF game, however the Vikings and the Giants played on Monday Night back in December when the Metrodome roof collapsed. Should this be changed? 74.105.165.5 (talk) 04:21, 31 August 2011 (UTC)

No, it was a postponed and relocated game that aired on Fox locally, since it was originally supposed to be a Sunday game. This year will be its first appearance on ESPN's Monday Night Football. TomCat4680 (talk) 06:10, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
