Page move from Philippine barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections, 2013[edit]
I moved the page to "Barangay elections, 2013" for two reasons (a) the SK elections were postponed and so that part was no longer needed and (b) no one else but the Philippines uses the term "barangay" (that I can tell) and so the "Philippine" modifier is unneeded. Titles should be as succinct as possible (i.e. without causing confusion). --Iloilo Wanderer (talk) 07:47, 25 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I see no need for the modifier "Philippine" since no other country uses the term "barangay". I propose moving the page back to "Barangay elections". --Iloilo Wanderer (talk) 07:03, 26 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The article titles for election articles are always "<place name adjective> <type> election, <year>". –HTD 11:49, 26 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:1982 Philippine barangay elections which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 13:48, 2 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
