Please help us select the main biography image for Fred VanVleet. (I will probably crop whichever one is chosen)

  • #3. I can come at it from a different perspective, since I'm actually a lawyer (though not your lawyer). The PNC logo in #2 creates potential copyright/trademark issues. The Loyola logo at midcourt is also almost certainly protected by one or both. However, since the bulk of either can mostly be cropped out, those issues would largely disappear. Also, fair use would cover the copyright issues, and the fact that the picture is clearly being used to depict VanVleet and not the company would make it hard to sustain a trademark infringement action. — Dale Arnett (talk) 11:12, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
    • My guess is that one reason PNC advertises at the game is to get the free advertising that comes from game photos and tv. I could be wrong though (because I am not a lawyer) Rikster2 (talk) 13:35, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • #4 for the record, I would choose this as a sharper image although #3 is a bit more frontal.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 23:18, 15 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
