I'll review this. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 10:56, 21 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • for the change to tyres: too easy to parse as "the change to tyres from something else"; it took me a second to reparse it. How about "for the tyre change"?
  • Valtteri Bottas, Kevin Magnussen and Alonso had finished second at least once, and Jenson Button, Sergio Pérez and Felipe Massa had all finished third once: what's the significance of this? You don't list the drivers who won one or more of the earlier races; why list those who place?
    • Come to think about this issue, there is little significant value to this and have removed it from the article. MWright96 (talk) 10:05, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • What is a "sector time"?
    • It is the time set by a particular driver in a certain part of the track. MWright96 (talk) 10:05, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • and at the next race of the season in Japan, they would be prohibited: suggest "and decided that [or announced that] at the next race of...".
  • Rosberg was only able to shift gears two at any one point: "shift gears two" looks incomplete.
  • to install soft compound tyres for a potential under cut: what is an "under cut"? You also have "undercut" a sentence later; whatever it means it should presumably be consistently given the space or not.
    • Undercut is known as overtaking in the pit lane for strategy reasons as stated per [1]. . Have made the spelling consistent. MWright96 (talk) 10:05, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Because of the length of time spent behind the safety car, the race would end under a two-hour time limit: I don't understand this -- surely the safety car would slow things down, not speed the race up?
