PROPOSED DELETION[edit]

This article was proposed for deletion based on WP:CRYSTAL guidelines. This article reflects a 2015 championship tournament that will be contested over the next 5 weeks. The article was first created in a "template" format to allow for quick and easy insertion of tournament results as each of the 4 weeks are contested. The article is one of a series of articles that document the NAIA football championship tournaments. Similar articles appear on Wikipedia back into the 1950's, including each and every tournament played since 1999. After the regular NAIA football season ended yesterday, the NAIA posted final regular season rankings earlier today. In addition, the 16-team field of teams that will compete for the championship were announced today in a live selection show conducted on the internet. The article has been updated to show the first round matchups, including sourcing the material. Admittedly, I do not know Wiki protocol for posting articles relating to tournaments that are in progress or soon to be contested. However, this article will be monitored by me and updated each and every week until the championship team has been crowned. Language such as "will be" will be changed to "was" as the change in terminology becomes appropriate. If this article is deleted, it will be recreated after the December 19 championship game is contested and the tournament is all history. In my opinion, deletion today or in the near future would be an absurdity that can and should be avoided. I welcome any flagging or other appropriate editing that is necessary to meet Wiki standards or the standards of any Wiki "gods" who have flagged this article as being inappropriate.Jlhcpa (talk) 03:17, 16 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
