I hate the idea of this page being semi-protected

Wikipedia is supposed to be the FREE Encyclopedia, not the UNFREE. The idea of protected articles and denying users to edit is stupid. That's my criticism about Wikipeida! Spencer H. Karter (talk) 16:24, 6 August 2015 (UTC)

It is free, but people also have to follow the rules. Too many people didn't follow the rules, so they had to restrict this article so only people who do follow the rules can edit it. TomCat4680 (talk) 22:29, 6 August 2015 (UTC)

How is it false advertising? You're not paying for a subscription. Free doesn't mean anarchy either. Read the edit history of this article. People kept putting up unsourced nonsense. It was disruptive and unhelpful. Following the rules doesn't make us arrogant, it makes us good editors. If you don't trust us, you don't have to come here.
