(your reason here) --LUSportsFan (talk) 16:32, 13 September 2018 (UTC)Although this article pertains to a Central Arkansas University team, it is the WOMEN'S basketball team and season which is totally separate from the MEN'S basketball team and season. Separate opponents, separate dates, separate times, separate individuals, separate conference tournaments, separate NCAA Division I tournaments and other tournaments are involved. In the case of Central Arkansas University as well as numerous other universities, even the team names are different. The men's teams compete as the BEARS. The women's teams compete as the SUGAR BEARS.[reply]

The two articles are not the same. For example, the Sugar Bears, the women's team covered in this article, had a 26-5 overall record, were conference co-champions with a 16-2 conference record, were conference tournament champions, and were NCAA Division I tournament participants. On the other hand, the Bears, the men's team covered in the other article, had an 8-24 overall record, finished in a five way tie for eighth place in the conference with a 7-11 record, and were eliminated in the first round of the conference tournament. The two teams had entirely different results in their respective seasons.

As an example of separate articles for men's and women's teams at the same university, please see pages for the following.

Texas Tech University:
Men's team: 2017–18 Texas Tech Red Raiders basketball team
Women's team: 2017–18 Texas Tech Lady Raiders basketball team

Below is an example of a university using the same team name for both men's and women's teams. Those pages are identified in the title of their respective pages with the inclusion of "men's" and "women's" to help visually differentiate the two. In the case of men's and women's teams identified by separate names, there would be a redundancy to include "men's" or "women's" in the title so those identifiers are omitted.

Duke University:
Men's team: 2017–18 Duke Blue Devils men's basketball team
Women's team: 2017–18 Duke Blue Devils women's basketball team

There are hundreds to thousands of other examples of similar Wikipedia articles if all seasons are included.
