East African Legislative Assembly - June 2017[edit]
(I put this here as a reminder for the future 2017 article) In June 2017 there should be a renewal of mandates for the East African Legislative Assembly, it will be the fourth Assembly in which 45 members are "elected", i.e. "indirectly elected, being voted into their positions by their respective National Assemblies, though not from the ranks of those Assemblies" (cf.
