Togo squad[edit]

Veteran 38 year old goalkeeper for Togo Kossi Agassa is said by the two sources linked within the squad list to be without a team (as is Adebayor) but in the list on this page it claims he is with US Granville in France. This seems to have been taken from the Transfermarkt website which we don't consider an accurate resource but other sources show that he did join that club in 2016. However The Sun newspaper with their profile on the Togo team (https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/2389623/togo-africa-cup-of-nations-profile/) mention him joining Granville but then later list him as Unattached (so presume he's left Granville). Shall I change him to Unattached as per the two sources (and which both appear to be accurate)? If a player does happen to change club (so Adebayor could have been signed for example) between call-up and the competition (not the case here) do we still list them as per call-up or add their new club? —Follow up - it appears he left Reims in August 2016 by mutual consent and then joined Granville not long afterwards. I cannot confirm whether he's still with the club or not. If someone who is a French speaker can check if he is, that would be appreciative. Of course, hopefully the commentary teams will mention whether he's at a club or not. Hey there! As I understand it, he was only in talks with Granville but never actually signed with the team, although he may be training with them since. He is not listed on the club website squad list, and hasn't appeared in any game for them. That's the reason (+ the fact he is listed as a free agent in every squad list available for Afcon) that I put him as Free agent when I added Togo's squad to the article, I think it should be changed back (unless a relevant source is added for him joining USG).Tuttiseme (talk) 10:27, 13 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
