Juan Manauel Correa[edit]

Hi, Prisonermonkeys, please provide direct quote from here, that Correa will race under Italian racing license. The source doesn't say this, so we need a footnote. Or we will receive a wave of edits from other editors who will rely on phrase "AMERICAN DRIVER JOINS JENZER MOTORSPORT". Corvus tristis (talk) 13:20, 30 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Corvus tristis — I removed the footnote because the article already pointed out that he was Italian; thus, the footnote was unnecessary. It would be like including a footnote in the F1 article to say that Lewis Hamilton is British. Prisonermonkeys (talk) 05:59, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Prisonermonkeys, where it is pointed out? Direct quote, please. The article doesn't contain any word about his Italian racing license nor even word Italy. The example with Hamilton is invalid as he doesn't race under the license different from his nationality. Corvus tristis (talk) 10:45, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Corvus tristis — look at your edit. Look at what was changed. Now look at this part of the table:

Team No. Driver Rounds
Switzerland Jenzer Motorsport 23 Italy Juan Manuel Correa 5

Do you see the problem? Prisonermonkeys (talk) 11:02, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't says about the racing license that differs from his nationaity. The source says that Correa is an American. So it will confuse readers. Corvus tristis (talk) 11:04, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
You made half an edit. You added the note that he raced under an Italian licence, but you didn't change the flag icon. Don't blame me for your bad edits. Prisonermonkeys (talk) 11:26, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
What? It is not half an edit. Footnote explains why we use Italian flag for the American driver. And you are not that person that should me teach how edit, Mr. "Excuse me for my removal of updates because I edit from mobile device". Corvus tristis (talk) 12:14, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Corvus tristis — no, this is what the footnote said (which I have taken directly from your edits):
"Correa raced under Italian racing license."
And it was accompanied by an Italian flag. There was no mention in the article that he was American, even if the source said that he was American.
"you are not that person that should me teach how edit, Mr. "Excuse me for my removal of updates because I edit from mobile device""
I did not ask to be excused. I asked for patience. I can only edit one section at a time, so if I am looking to make edits in multiple sections, I have to save an edit in each section. You're the one who sat on the article and reverted edits on sight without trying to find out what was going on. Prisonermonkeys (talk) 09:17, 2 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
