I've done an initial job, partially for spelling, punctuation and grammar (I've probably made some errors myself...) on this tonight as I said I would somewhere else. In particular I've cut down the reliance on scorecards and used prose where possible. There is still more needed, particularly on:
the security situation and the dates on which the final was actually confirmed by the Punjab government
the overseas players who refused to travel and who they were replaced by - and those who did travel
the advice these players had received
the new matches (all stars matches are they?) organised after the final went off succesfully
reaction - in terms of direct quotes I think - about the final (from a security pov)
and probably some other stuff that I forget as well. It will need a tonne more references as well to support all sorts of things, but it's a start at least. Thoughts? Blue Square Thing (talk) 19:40, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
