These pages are quite notable , so I moved back this and the previous pages to the original articles and added extra details and citations. I don't know if I'm supposed to do anything special for this article since it had a deletion nomination, but I feel like this article should have had more opinions during that nomination. This election also took place during the midterms in 2018 and had a very high turnout, was relatively covered, was a close election, and Virginia Beach is the biggest city in Virginia. Also, may I add that there was absolutely no reason to remove the previous articles before this one, especially the one from 2008. GatewayPolitics (talk) 05:05, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@GatewayPolitics I do not think this warrants a standalone article dedicated solely to this election. And there was a deletion consensus by others who had that view that as well. An article like Mayoral elections in Hartford, Connecticut could be created for the city. But no stand-alone articles are warranted for this and other routine individual elections.
