Merge discussion?[edit]

Are we supposed to be having a merge discussion here??? ;x @The359, IMSA E320, JoeyofthePriuses, and Johannes275:

Because to be honest, I don't know what the point of making a separate article was. GhostOfDanGurney (talk) 18:07, 7 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Fair point, let's merge the article into this one. Although we need clarity with respect to who is participating in which championship, just like the prototype section of entries. User:Johannes275 (talk) 19:59, 7 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Rounds TBA?[edit]

New to the project, would it be acceptable to update the 'Rounds' column with the rounds that the teams are claiming to be targeting, then updating as the season progresses? I feel it'd be more useful to have the information that we currently know is planned/intended, and then updating as things change over the season, over simply having just "TBA" for every entry and driver. Paints a better informational picture of the entries that are one-offs/sprint/endurance-only vs full-season. N8bRSR (talk) 21:27, 10 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Factory Cadillac team names[edit]

I'm just finding it rather odd that we've been naming the Wayne Taylor Racing-run entries as "Wayne Taylor Racing" for the past two years, despite the fact that's not what they're entered as in the entry lists. We're doing it with the Action Express Racing cars, naming them "Mustang Sampling" and "Whelen Engineering" as such, but why aren't we doing it with the Wayne Taylor Racing entries? Is it because Konica Minolta isn't a sponsor? Just want some clarification.

Because Wayne Taylor seems to name the car, a style similar to German and Japanese series, instead of the team. Many of these series would have a team name and a car name specific on sponsorship and such. It has always been peculiar and has been discussed before, but we decided to keep it was Wayne Taylor Racing. The359 (Talk) 19:47, 20 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Colors used to designate Endurance Championship and Sprint Championship[edit]

So I'm looking at the race schedule section of the page and I was wondering if anyone else thinks that a color change might be necessary for the colors noting Endurance championship races and Sprint championship races. Those colors seem to me be to pretty close to each other and it can be hard to differentiate between them at a glance. I could imagine that's even more of a problem with people with worse eyesight than me. So I guess the question is, would it be beneficial to change one of the two colors to make it more easily distinguishable? Waluigithewalrus (talk) 18:24, 17 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
