Opening paragraph[edit]

What does this sentence mean?

"In the local authorities outside of Dublin, Cork City and Galway City, municipal districts meet comprising the councillors of one or more LEAs."

No idea. I've removed it - the article loses nothing with its omission. BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 10:00, 28 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Detailed results by council section[edit]

The AAA no longer exists and should be replaced in that table by 1) Socialist Party or 2) Socialist Party / Solidarity or 3) Solidarity.

Map of largest party by council[edit]

Map of the largest party is wrong, for example showing the Green Party as the largest party in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown while Fine Gael is actually the largest party. It also shows Fianna Fáil as the largest parties on Cork County Council and Laois County council as they did receive the largest vote share but Fine Gael received the most seats. Teddy455 I have corrected it, sorry for the problems with it earlier. JDuggan101 talk. | Cont. 11:45, 30 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

S/PBP also have one councillor in Fingal. -D — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.100.211.90 (talk) 00:10, 30 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I assume the breaker to decide on map colour is due to seat numbers but also vote share hence how Meath is blue as FG have higher vote share but are equivalent to FF? Same in Louth with SF/FF. However Kerry should be changed as FF have 10 seats to 9 for Independents. I would argue both Wicklow and Waterford should be marked blue. FG is the largest party in both. In the latter case level with FF but by vote share.Devite (talk) 22:08, 20 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Map on page[edit]

I believe, in reference to the map on the page, that FF and not FG are the biggest party in Fingal now. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.100.211.90 (talk) 23:51, 2 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
