Cleaning up the background section[edit]

The background section needs clean up, the section is more like a promotion of/about the RTO chief rather than the background of the event. @Ajit bezbaruah: I think this better to be moved it to the article Ravi Gaikwad {"xiiix":"write"} 08:54, 25 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I tried doing this, but user GSS not only deleted all my edits in the Road Safety World Series page but he also removed it from Ravi Gaikwad's page. I am in a fix what to do now? Just for your reference, I am an Account Director with Adfactors PR, the agency which handled the PR mandate of the Road Safety World Series. The contract of my Agency with the Road Safety World Series expired on March 23, 2020 as the tournament was scheduled to be over on March 22, 2020. Just for your knowledge, due to the outbreak of COVID-19 worldwide, the decision to postpone the tournament was taken on March 13, 2020. I also want to learn if there is any conflict of interest if I edit the Road Safety World Series page now, because as I can see, it is filled with wrong information. As someone who had worked closely with the project I am well aware of the facts and figures. Request you to kindly guide me and help me in this regard. Not only as a professional but also as a cricket fan, I was very attached to this event as I was interacting with all the big stars on a regular basis and so it pains me to see wrong information about the league being published on the page. Please help! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ajit bezbaruah (talkcontribs) 12:41, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Guys, what's going on? it has been more than a month that I had submitted the corrected draft for the Road Safety World Series page, but why has it not been uploaded? Please let me know. If Wikipedia is looking for some credibility, please put the correct information on the page. Whatever is there now, most of it is all wrong! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ajit bezbaruah (talkcontribs) 19:15, 27 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please consider incorporating material from the above draft submission into this article. Drafts are eligible for deletion after 6 months of inactivity. ~Kvng (talk) 21:56, 10 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Update the page or make new page[edit]

The organizers, instead of starting afresh in 2021, have opted to resume the previous edition, which was paused after only four games. In the completed fixtures thus far, the India Legends trumped West Indies Legends by seven wickets in the tournament-opener and followed that by a five-wicket victory over Sri Lanka Legends, who opened their account by defeating Australia Legends by seven runs in the second game of the league phase. The last fixture before the tournament was postponed indefinitely witnessed the South Africa Legends thrashing West Indies Legends by six wickets.

Four teams – India Legends, Sri Lanka Legends, South Africa Legends, and West Indies Legends – will resume action in 2021, whereas England Legends and Bangladesh Legends will replace the Brett Lee]-led Australia Legends, who are set to miss due to their inability to travel to India owing to the strict COVID-19 restrictions in Australia.

The tournament will commence with Indian Legends taking on Bangladesh Legends on March 5, while the latest entrants – England Legends and Bangladesh Legends – will commence their proceedings facing each other on March 7. After the conclusion of the league stage, the top four teams will play two semifinals, scheduled on March 17 and 18, followed by the final on March 21.
