WRC-2 and WRC-3 calendars[edit]

@Unnamelessness, Pelmeen10, and Kovpastish: have any of you seen the calendars for the WRC-2 and WRC-3? Both championships are moving to a model where they only contest selected rounds, but I cannot find anything to suggest which rounds are actually being contested. I figured out the WRC-2 calendar—crews can do seven of eight European rounds and must do either Mexico or Japan. That means Argentina, Kenya and New Zealand are not part of the WRC-2, and Chile has been cancelled. Still haven't seen anything for the WRC-3, though. All I have seen are the sporting regulations for 2020 which are: 6.4.3 "The WRC 2 Champion titles for Drivers and Co-Drivers will be awarded to the driver and co-driver who have scored the highest number of points from 8 of the rallies in which they were entered by a team registered in the WRC 2 Championship." and 6.4.4 "The WRC3 Champion titles for Drivers and Co-Drivers will be awarded to the driver and co-driver who have scored the highest number of points from 6 of the first 7 rallies which they have entered to score points. In the remaining rallies they may neither score nor detract points from other registered drivers." They can be found here. I have not seen anything about a specific calendar though for WRC2 or WRC3. There are sources in the article that say the WRC-2 is any seven of eight European rallies, plus one of two fly-aways, so we're on solid ground there. The WRC-3 sounds like all rounds are open, but only six will count (with an extra to be dropped to allow a dud result). Mclarenfan17 (talk) 12:46, 13 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
