Who is the polesitter? Or there isn't?[edit]

Assuming every driver takes their normal spots, the polesitter position is vacant. Does this mean there is NO driver on pole position, or does Verstappen take over the pole position role DESPITE starting from 2nd on the grid? Admanny (talk) 12:39, 23 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. The the definition of pole position is clear. Look at 2005 United States Grand Prix and related articles (2005 Formula One World Championship, Jarno Trulli etc.)
