First and second qualifying rounds[edit]

What happened to the first and second qualifying rounds? It looks as if they might have been abolished, but what's the point of calling the third round "third" any more?

If there have been changes to the format and a decrease of the number of teams eligible for entering the competition from national leagues, it would be worth explaining that in the article.

I think there's vandalism on this page Tiagomagalhaes (talk) 22:37, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I rescind my previous comment Tiagomagalhaes (talk) 22:38, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Third Qualifying round is in period to playing matches in Third Qualifying round in both Europe conference and champions leagues, but this is first Qualifying round. Metufit (talk) 19:06, 6 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

For the Europa league, there is only third qualifying round, and play-off round. However, despite there not being a first or 2nd qualifying round, Uefa still officially call it the "third" qualifying round - probably largely due to the round being played at the same time as other third qualifying rounds (in the Champions league/conference league). 148.64.30.30 (talk) 09:56, 16 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
ps - source for Uefa using 'third' qualifying round. 148.64.30.30 (talk) 09:59, 16 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Arsenal v PSV Eindhoven[edit]

@S.A. Julio: could you fix the red link in the Notes at the bottom of the page? Thanks. Island92 (talk) 15:34, 14 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@S.A. Julio: why did you remove the Notes? I thought consistency with 2022–23 UEFA Nations League schedule Scotland v Ukraine of matchday 2 moved to 21 September 2022.--Island92 (talk) 22:41, 15 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Island92: Typically in the past for the Europa League we only listed the "standard" dates for matches, and did not include any notes even if a match was played on another day. For example one of the semi-finals in 2016–17 was played on a Wednesday, and two of the round of 32 matches in 2018–19 was played on a Tuesday/Wednesday, but in both cases we did not include a note in the schedule table. @S.A. Julio: That's fine.--Island92 (talk) 09:21, 16 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
