Are the Heat clinched?[edit]

I know they won their division but as I understand it division winners aren't guaranteed a playoff spot anymore? Is it accurate to say they clinched a playoff spot with their division? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2Skupz (talkcontribs) 16:47, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

2Skupz, the Heat didn't clinch a playoff spot until March 31 (see here). It's highly unlikely that a division winner would miss the NBA playoffs, but unlike MLB or NFL, winning a division doesn't guarantee a spot in the NBA playoffs — see here. The NBA only goes by Conference standings (ranking teams 1 through 15, for Eastern and Western) to determine playoff positioning. Dmoore5556 (talk) 07:28, 6 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
They were originally listed as having clinched a playoff spot at the time of winning their division. As you say, it is highly unlikely but possible that they would still miss the playoffs. It's been corrected. Thanks. 2Skupz (talk) 17:54, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Notable updates to postseason appearances as a table[edit]

HappyBoi3892 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ilyan (talkcontribs) 18:21, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Don't you think it'll be more readable as a table? Something like that:

Seed Team Qualifying streak (previous misses for new streaks)
1 Miami Heat 3
2 Boston Celtics 8
3 Milwaukee Bucks 6
4 Philadelphia 76ers 5
5 Toronto Raptors 1 (1)
6 Chicago Bulls 1 (4)
7 Brooklyn Nets 4
8 Atlanta Hawks 2

Maybe, those columns can be added to existing tables in "Playoff qualifying" section?

Also, I think "Playoff qualifying" section can contain all the teams. For non-qualified teams, we can provide the dates the teams lost the chance to make the playoff/play-in and the postseason (misses) streak.

Because after the game i was looking for the Final Score. In the issues it was too late by HappyBoi and then they both edit it was too late From HappyBoi. So the first one Game 5 Utah Vs Dallas and the second one Game 6 Memphis Vs Minnesota. So That's How Issues because HappyBoi they wait for the final score and then it was a too late.
