Jordan Spieth 2022 Qualification Note[edit]
UPDATE - 4/17/2022 When originally posted on April 12 2022, (see page history), this section was concerned about a minor error concerning Jordan Spieth's qualifications for the 2022 tournament. The error was subsequently corrected.
Now, on Sunday April 17 2022, Spieth has won the 2022 RBC Heritage Classic in a playoff. As a result, a (12) -- for Category-12, PGA Tour event winners between the 2021 and 2022 PGA Championships -- can be correctly placed next to his name. Another editor has already done this.
There will soon be an additional qualification for Spieth. When the PGA of America officially announces the qualifiers for the 2022 PGA Championship, it is quite certain that a (13) -- for the category of "PGA of America Invitees" -- can also be added next to Spieth's name, as he is among the Top 50 Leaders (actually Top 20) on the Official World Golf Rankings List.
