@CreativeNorth: Hi! Again here, I will refer to the film articles which have an image for the lead cast or director, etc. (See Frozen, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2). While I know it is a non-free image which I added, but it depicts latest pictures of the players and their jerseys, it has been used as an official poster as well. In #HBLPSL6 article, which you have updated to GA, old images of players have been used. Adding screenshots in reduced size is allowed if it shows latest relevant work. Thanks! M. Free images of players is fine, but non-free images of players together are not, in my opinion, as we have a very narrow tolerance for allowance of non-free images in articles. Joseph2302 (talk) 16:25, 8 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, well I can't say much if wiki has narrow tolerance for it, so it can be deleted. I tried to collect and add something new. 🙁 Old images do not seem to be fit in the current event, for example File:Gaddafi stadium lahore.jpg, and we find it hard to get new images freely.
For marketing section, I didn't add "Hamaray Heroes" and "International broadcasters" parts, if something goes WP:toomuch, then it's ok to remove. But only thing I will support here is that the league is widely known as HBLPSL7, as the hashtag on social media also says. In my opinion, it has similar role for WP:TV as well, like for WP:CRICKET.
I want to propose some more ideas for the page. Also see Talk:2021 Pakistan Super League. Again sorry if someone thinks I was at mistake, thanks! M. Billoo 17:07, 8 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
There has been a whole article about Cricket World Cup Trophy, maybe that's why it is not used in individual pages like 2019 Cricket World Cup. HBL and PCB produce several web series; and because those have no separate articles yet, that's why some of them are mentioned here by someone. See this unofficial video for history of PSL trophies; the current shape has been in use since 2020 PSL. Is it really WP:OTHERSTUFF now? 😢 M. Billoo 18:33, 8 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

James Faulkner[edit]

Hi @M.Billoo2000:. Do you think we need a bit more info on the whole issue with Faulkner? Eg. A line about his claims then a line about the PCB's responce. Or is just the one line fine? CreativeNorth (talk) 15:04, 19 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@CreativeNorth: as you wish. M. Billoo 08:51, 27 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Adding refs[edit]

Hi Babar A. Khan 85! Saw your this edit: Special:Diff/1073652726. Usually, there is no need to add references in the lead paragraph when the content is already mentioned well sourced in the article body. Also: Special:Diff/1073728520, I think there is no need to mention the number of half crowd in the table, when already Lahore has to be allowed to host a full crowd. It was necessary in case of Karachi because only half was allowed throughout, while table shows summary only.

Also generally, the official website, https://psl-t20.com in this case, should be avoided to use as reference if third party reliable source is available. Few days back, the PSL web designers have removed old links in order to update and maintain the website... Thanks! M. Billoo 08:51, 27 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
