"Acclaimed"[edit]

The article refers to Stiles being "acclaimed". Even though she was unopposed, there was still a confirmation vote, so technically "acclaimed" is incorrect. "Elected" is technically correct but could be misleading. I propose using "confirmed". MyOtherAccountIsASpaceship (talk) 19:31, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Agree that acclaimed is the wrong term, looking at the wiki entry on Acclamation, it's defined as "a form of election that does not use a ballot". Ideally the actual vote % should be used, however have been unable to find it so far. Perhaps a term like "elected by majority vote"^[1] may work, in lieu of an official vote total.Mr. No Funny Nickname (talk) 22:18, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
