Why is there a section about Macron vs. Le Pen?[edit]

Macron is ineligible for re-election, right? Why are people putting up opinion polls for this? Kndimov (talk) 17:01, 10 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Kndimov it would make sense to move it into a 'scenario polling', so it may be worth creating a new page for 'Opinion polling for the 2027 French presidential election' Quinby (talk) 09:14, 25 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not convinced it should be included on the page at all. He is ineligible for reelection, there's no reason for him to be included at all. 162.210.247.159 (talk) 14:42, 1 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Emanuel Macron is ineligible to run for a third consecutive term these polls are mostly likely based on a hypothetical scenario in which he could run for a third consecutive term. King4852 (talk) 21:40, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I propose that the 'Opinion polling' section be moved to Opinion polling for the 2027 French presidential election. There is precedent for it to be in its own page, and it would allow for further sections regarding scenario polling including Macron, as his inclusion does not make much sense in the overall table.
