Facebook[edit]

Sorry, I really feel that the information that the DJs have facebook really should not be on here.. it's their personal life we're dealing with here and i think we should respect that to some degree Suicidereflex 14:23, 31 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pictures[edit]

anyone know where to get recent pics of all the DJs, including the part time ones like xavier, emily and jacq? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.21.155.8 (talkcontribs) 14:17, 6 August 2006

I think you can find most of them on the 987fm moblog page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Optimus91 (talkcontribs) 02:52, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The part-timers' pics can be found at their facebook profiles. Emily Teng, Xavier teo both have assesible profiles if you're in the singapore network. For now, that is. And jacq's pic can be seen in one of Young's facebook albums. Regina marie (talk) 09:14, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Clarification on my trimming of this article[edit]

I've deleted a lot of trivial information from the article, and a lot of information that isn't the sort that Wikipedia is intended to carry. Please read What Wikipedia is not for information on such guidelines as:

  • Wikipedia is not a program guide or schedule.
  • Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information.
  • Wikipedia is not your web host (I mention this in case anyone adding this information is associated with the station in some way and is using this page to communicate information from the stations).

Also, see WP:UNDUEWEIGHT. Listing every type of 30-second spot used as inserts between segments is overkills. It doesn't need to be belabored that a radio station has such mundane spots as sports reports, traffic updates, entertainment news. A whole bullet point for each of these is overkill. A single sentence in the lead section saying that the station carries news, sports, traffic, weather, home tips, and entertainment highlights is sufficient.

Next, see Wikipedia's policy on external links. It is inappropriate to have multiple links throughout the article to various pages on the sites of the station or its owners or associated companies. A single link to the station's home page suffices. These other links aren't appropriate as references because they are not reliable sources.

Finally, as the article is already 100% lacking in references to reliable sources, please refrain from adding any more information without providing neutral, third-party reliable sources that can corroborate the information and give an indication of its significance.
