Bot copyright warning[edit]

http://noehill.com/humboldt/nat1983001180.asp Contains no substantive material about the A. Berding House. The page cited by the bot copied from the books cited as Ferndale, 2004 and Genzoli, 1994. The website cited by your bot quotes at length from the Ferndale book - about other houses - and doesn't have permission from the Ferndale Museum (its publisher) to do that. I've also posted to several other historic houses in the area tonight which are cited on the same webpage and this is the first one that has been tapped by the bot. The copyright checking bots are very strange animals. As I understand it, they look at vocabulary and how much overlaps. I've complained to the bot owner in one case and he was quite understanding. Probably best just to remove the warning and be prepared to defend the article if actual people call for deletion. Smallbones (talk) 14:37, 4 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
