Lead[edit]

  • film composer by the Time magazine, -> composers -> by Time
  • In 2009, Time magazine -> no need to write magazine
  • in its list of World's Most Influential People -> whats his numerical rank?
  • sold more than 300 million records -> This cannot be used. Their is consensus at List of best-selling music artists that he has not sufficient certifications to back up those claims. If necessary, I can link you.
  • making him one of the world's all-time top selling recording artists -> As I said above, due to consensus, he is no longer on this list. Check if you'd like.
  • spanning two decades -> 80s, 90s, 00s -> 3 decades

Early life[edit]

  • The first four lines are not sourced. Plus the following RS source is a dead link, resulting in most of the first section being unsourced
  • composers like -> such as

Career[edit]

  • becoming the highest selling Indian album of all time -> I don't think this is in the source
  • You tend to use the word score a bit too often. Try and mix it up a bit
  • By the end of 2003, Rahman had sold more than 150 million records of his film scores and soundtracks for over 50 film scores worldwide. -> conflicting with what is said in the lead

Other works[edit]

  • US -> United States
  • U.S. -> US
  • 24 November 2009 -> November 24
  • My main issue with these sections are the tons of unsourced content. Please provide sources for claims like "Some of his notable compositions were performed live by the London Philharmonic Orchestra in April 2010.", "Rahman has written jingles for ads and composed several orchestrations for athletic events, television and internet media publications, documentaries and short films." etc.
  • For the awards, try and give some sort of an introductory sentence instead of just "He won"
  • Where is the source for all those four wins, six wins?
  • Lots of the personal life is unsourced
  • Again, Indian Tsunami info is not sourced
  • Similar issues throughout

References[edit]

    1. 1Time, then 2 publishers
    2. 2 needs proper formatting
    3. 3 4, any publishers?
  • A lot fo sources need linking and publishers etc.
    • Let me know when these issues are taken care of.--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 20:47, 1 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
      • This article has been failed. Main issues remain, aside from the fact that the nominator has been gone for a month. A separate editor fixed some issues, ignoring the largest one I specifically pointed out twice.--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 07:41, 12 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
