I have deleted the following after the mention of Robert Browning's My Last Duchess:

poet invites us to examine/criticize the Dukes' attitude towards women, i.e he treats them as objects. This was portrayed during Browning society, where women were treated this way. the poet arouses questions in our mind,'is it wrong to have show equal love for other things, such as the beautiful scenery e.t.c, she did not deserve to be killed, the Duke was wrong for doing this, the jealousy is quite vividly shown here

This information does not belong on this page, it belongs in the entry for that specifc poem if anywhere.

An image of the Anthology would be useful. Anyone got one? Francium12 (talk) 11:58, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Two or three anthologies?[edit]

The first anthology (with the wave cover) including Poems from Different Cultures and Heaney/Armitage/Duffy/Clarke was produced in 2004. The AQA website suggests another was produced in 2015. Was there a second one produced around 2010 in between these? Crookesmoor (talk) 09:27, 31 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

2000/01 Anthology[edit]

There was an AQA anthology published in 2000 (see [1] [2] [3]), meaning that the 2004 edition would have been the second one, not the first. Unless anyone objects, I'd like to correct this in the article. Thanks, A Thousand Doors (talk | contribs) 20:06, 26 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
