Source gathering

This album comes out soon but has gone into a slow on editing. So I'm suggesting that this section be used for any source gathering so editors know what to add. For instance:

Both sources talk about spoken work being added in prominantly on certain tracks.

Use of leak information

Something that has been argued on other wiki pages, according to WP:LEAK there has to be a significant reaction from the band or record label before it passes notability of being mentioned. Genre

I felt it was a far better idea to do this in the talk page rather than kick start a futile edit war, but I feel the genre's currently there are not representative. When I first wrote this article I put "Post-hardcore, drum and bass, dubstep, alternative metal" in the info box as the main three were and are primarily sourced in the composition section (Alt metal is cited in a interview I never put in the article). Now there is "Post-hardcore, alternative metal, electronicore, alternative rock, rap rock". Four out of five of those genres are unsourced. Really I feel it should be restored to something similar to what I originally put as it represents the albums broadness. I hope there are those who come to discuss. I can see on the article history that you have been defending the genres for at least three years. I agree that hashing out the genres of the album would be best conducted here on the talk page. One point that I want to make is that the album genre must satisfy WP:V, that is, it must be a genre that is published as a description of the album. An album's genre parameter should not be filled automatically by genres that can be found in the songs, or by the band's genre. Rather, the album genre should actually be the genre of the album as a whole. Let's look at the sources and what they say:

Cooper is saying that the album is post-hardcore and industrial, plus more. Cooper then discusses the individual songs.
• Enter Shikari-A Flash Flood Of Colour, by Blakester on Rockhaq.com. "This album was a new interesting feature by Enter Shikari with their new amazing sound, it involved a genre of music called dubstep along with drum and bass, postcore, alternative metal and rock."
• John Calvert (9 January 2012). "Album Review: Enter Shikari A Flash Flood of Colour". Drowned In Sound. Retrieved 25 August 2014. Calvert calls the album "sports-metal", supposedly some kind of low point for rock music fused with urban influence. Calvert uses "2011" to stand in for the name of this album: "Forward rewind to 2011 and it's all Nero-grade dubstep, amateurish drum'n'bass and mid-twenties pot bellies." Comment: I've been defending it so that when I promote the album to GA it's genres are the most representative of sources and least controversial. Also sometimes when left unchallenged the genres get changed a lot. Jonjonjohny (talk) 17:00, 25 August 2014 (UTC)
