Hello! I will be reviewing this article. --Cerebellum (talk) 00:00, 8 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Many thanks for taking this on. Chiswick Chap (talk) 08:30, 8 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Good work on this! Interesting topic. I have a few suggestions below, so I'm placing the article on hold until you get a chance to address them.

  • Do you feel strongly about the use of "Mrs Rundell" instead of just "Rundell"? Generally with authors we wouldn't use Mrs, but this might be an exception.
Yes, "Mrs Rundell" is how she was (and is) known. Chiswick Chap (talk) 08:42, 11 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • I would include more information on Emma Roberts; looks like she has her own article, and this link mentions her editing Mrs Rundell.
I have glossed and added dates and your ref for Emma Roberts. Chiswick Chap (talk) 08:42, 11 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • I don't think you should repeat the line, "For all that, Carrell notes, both "the most famous cookery book of its time" and Rundell herself vanished into obscurity."
Well spotted. Removed the first one. Chiswick Chap (talk) 08:42, 11 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • It doesn't make sense to say that the 1865 edition earned Mrs Rundell 2000 guineas (last line of the lead), since she died in 1828.
