I believe he was born in 1966, but haven't been able to find a citable source. The 2007 KPLU radio clip linked from the external links says he is 41. - Jmabel | Talk 05:25, 4 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure of the extent to which his profession is "journalist". When he was arrested, he was headed to DC to interview for a job as a journalist, but I'm not really certain he has worked as a journalist. - Jmabel | Talk 05:25, 4 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've communicated with Doug Honig of ACLU-WA, and he says that Habeeb is not a journalist, he's an artist and calligrapher. I was misled by the reference to his having been headed to DC for a newspaper job. I'll correct this, and a few other minor points where Honig has been helpful. - Jmabel | Talk 01:22, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
